Seaweed and Sand is a homewares store that reflects Australia's obsession with living by the sea. We source interesting and unusual product from all over the world with a distinctive nautical/seaside flavour. Our motto is "Bringing the seaside home" and our aim is to help turn your home into a resort. Seaweed and Sand was founded in 2001 by Managing Director Geoff Newlyn. Geoff has had 15yrs experience in specialty retailing and was director and co-owner of the Australian Geographic chain of retail stores. The first Seaweed and Sand store opened at Hornsby Westfield in NSW in Sept 01. Since then, the chain has expanded to 5 stores in regional shopping centers across the state. Our stores are staffed by a knowledgeable team of dedicated retail professionals.
